    Series packages
    On sale from 9:00 am (AEST) Wednesday 3 October 2012 until 5:00 pm (AEST) Sunday 7 October 2012

    Single Session tickets and ground passes
    On sale at 9:00 am (ADST) on Monday 8 October 2012

    Warning: Always ensure tickets are purchased from:

    · Ticketek (Official Ticketing Agent)
    · An Official Australian Open Tour Operator
    · An Official Australian Open Hospitality Package

    Failure to do so could mean that access to the Australian Open is denied.

    "After 5" Ground Pass
    An "After 5" Ground Pass ticket will be available for the 2013 Australian Open. The "After 5" Ground Pass will provide access to the Australian Open from 5:00pm for all sessions between 14 January until 19  January 2013. This ticket is perfect for patrons attending after work and includes access to all outside courts.

    "Any 3 or 5 Day" Ground Pass
    An "Any 3 or 5 Day" Ground Pass ticket will be available for the 2013 Australian Open. The "Any 3 or 5 Day" Ground Pass will provide access to any three or five days of the Australian Open. The ticket provides a discount on multiple sessions and is great to see all the outside court action. Please note that this ticket CANNOT be upgraded to a reserved seat in Hisense Arena or Rod Laver Arena.

    Child and Concession Policy

    The following child and concession policy applies to the Australian Open 2013 to be held at Melbourne Park Tennis Centre, Victoria.

    Child Policy
    • Children aged 3-16 as at 1 January 2013 are entitled to purchase a Childs reserved seat ticket.
    • Children aged 2 and under as at 1 January 2013 are entitled to enter the events at no charge; however they must not occupy a reserved seat.
    • Persons aged 17 and over as at 1 January 2013 are classified as an adult, unless they hold valid Concession identification.

    Concession Policy
    A person must have the appropriate form of concession to purchase a concession reserved seat ticket.
    They must present the relevant concession documentation at point of purchase and upon entry into the event.

    The following are accepted forms of Concession for the purchase of tickets:
    a. Student Cards: Full-time Secondary Students, Full-time Tertiary Students.
    b. Pensioner Concession Card: Aged (AGE), Bereavement Allowance (BVA), Carer (CAR), Aged Blind (AGE BLIND), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Disability Support Pension (DSP), Disability Support Blind (DSP Blind), Partner Allowance (PTA), Sickness Allowance (SAL), Special Benefit (SPL), Widow Allowance (WDA), Widow Pension (WID), Wife Pension (WFA/WFD/WFW), Newstart Allowance over 60 years (NSW/NMA), Mature Age Allowance (MAA), Mature Age Partner Allowance (MPA), Newstart Allowance (NSA), Parenting Payment (PPP/PPS).
    c. Veteran Affairs and TPI
    d. Health Care Cards: Exceptional Circumstances Relief (DR), Sickness Allowance (SA), Special Benefit (SL), Farm Help Income Support (FFR), Newstart Allowance (NS), Youth Allowance (YA), Newstart Mature Age Allowance (NMA), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Low Income (LI), Carer Allowance (CD), Partner Allowance (PA), Mobility Allowance (MO), and Widow Assistance (FA), Family Assistance (FA), Child Disability Allowance (CDA).
    e. Personal Treatment Entitlement Card: Must be current. (Please check date carefully)

    Tennis Australia recognises the Companion Card program.

    Prohibited items

    For the comfort and safety of patrons and players, and/or pursuant to the Major Sporting Events Act 2009 (the Act), the following items are NOT allowed into MP:

    Alcohol; animals except service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs, police dogs and horses); any item that could be used as a weapon; beach balls & other inflatable devices; bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller-blades/skates; camera tripods, monopods, telephoto camera lenses with a focal length capacity greater than 200mm; video cameras & handy-cams; audio recorders; any device capable of recording, distributing and/or transmitting scoring data and other statistical information relating to the AO for commercial purposes; drink & food cans; chairs & stools; eskies & hampers; fireworks; frisbees; helium balloons; glass (including bottles); large containers in excess of 1.5 litres; flags, banners or signs larger than 1 metre by 1 metre in size or with handles longer than 50cm in length; musical instruments &/or amplification equipment; unauthorised advertising or marketing material or flyers; laser pointers, distress signals, whistles or loud hailers and dangerous goods.

    Prams and strollers

    Prams and strollers are not permitted in seating areas. During the Australian Open there is only limited storage at Hisense Arena Information Desk for the cloaking of prams whilst HA remains open. The MOPT forecourt cloaking desk, outside the gates can also be utilized.

    Restricted view and restricted leg room seats

    Seats in the front two rows of the Upper tier of Rod Laver Arena (RLA) are sold as restricted view, as handrails and signage partially obstruct a patron's view of the court. Seats in Row PP in RLA have restricted leg room, compared to all other rows in the arena.

    Ground passes

    A Ground pass ticket will be available for the 2013 Australian Open. Ground pass tickets entitle access to all outside court action including Margaret Court Arena (subject to availability & scheduling).

    In order to promote fair and equitable access to the Australian Open, TA reserves the right to reject a booking made by an individual that exceeds the ticket limits set for the event. The maximum number of tickets that can be booked by an individual is 30 tickets for the event. The maximum number of tickets that can be booked by an individual per session are 10 tickets per HA session, and 8 tickets per RLA session except the Mens final where a 4 ticket limit applies.
